comprehensive therapy services For women of Tampa Bay

About

Her Mindset specializes in helping women reclaim clarity, confidence, and control through evidence-based practice rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we explore the thoughts that may be holding you back, uncover the emotions tied to those patterns, and create a personalized path forward—centered on your well-being and lifestyle.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, mood challenges, burnout, or simply feeling stuck, we're here to support you with thoughtful, compassionate care.

Why Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has grown to be one of the most effective forms of therapy to assist in symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood conditions and stagnation. CBT aids in identifying negative thought patterns to assist in developing new positive behaviors.

Using CBT, clients will learn new coping strategies for their symptoms and set specific-measurable goals to encourage movement towards progress. Including a wellness component to CBT, will provide a more comprehensive approach to treatment to assess any deficits in the client's physical, social, intellectual, spiritual, and occupational lifestyle.

Meet the Therapist

Meagan Mitchell is a social worker, mental health therapist, and wellness coach. She obtained her (MSW) Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago with a concentration in mental health. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Florida and Indiana and a Certified Wellness Coach (CWC) in the state of Florida. Meagan was raised on the southwest side of Chicago and decided to stay locally for her collegiate education. Her years of experience have revolved around major metropolitan areas granting her the opportunity to work across many demographics of clients while using CBT methods.

Meagan has been working in the field for over a decade and took a few years off to start a family and support her husband’s medical training. After a few years as a working mom, her focus grew with women in the community and listening to the many challenges they face during their transitions in life.

To Meagan, there's nothing more fulfilling than supporting women as they pursue their personal goals while balancing the many roles they play. She would be happy to walk along side with you on your journey toward growth, healing, and lasting change.
